Our Business Process

1 Customer's Request Processing

JKT WOOD's goal is to minimize unnecessary wood harvesting. Thus, the first step of our process is working 

with customers, to define and optimize their exact requests and cut lists.

2 Optimized Forest Sourcing

Based on the customer's requested product and volumes Nosdom will purchase rights to harvest trees in needed quantities. 

Purchasing is made from sustainably managed forests only.

3 Reduced-Impact Wood Harvesting

Wood harvesting is the preparation of logs, which includes the cutting of trees, their conversion into logs, extraction, 

and long-distance transportation to the processing plant.

4 Precise Sawing with Less Waste

Based on the cut list, which defines target sizes and quantities Nosdom's engineers will choose a mathematical

precise pattern of sawing to maximize output and minimize waste.

5 Controlled Kiln Drying

The kiln process involves drying wood in a chamber where air circulation, humidity, and temperature are controlled 

so that the moisture content is reduced evenly to a target point.

6 Planing, Surfacing, and Sculpturing

This is the last production stage when the form, surface, size, and final appearance of the product are created. 

All the product parameters will be matched to all the customer's requirements.

7 Timber Grading and Sorting

This is one of the most important stages when we grade each board and sort it into A, B, or C grades based on 

visual parameters and overall quality.

8 Final Quality Check Up and Packing

The final quality checkup aims to confirm that all customer requirements were fulfilled. 

The products can also be packed in bundles, as defined by the customer.

9 Loading and Shipping to the Customer

Our logistics team will make sure that transportation will be organized in the most cost-effective way, 

and that all the products will be delivered on time.
