Our Main Responsibility

As a wood business, our duty is to manage our sourcing responsibly. In Nosdom we only co-operate with sustainable forestries, that are managed according to international standards.

Sustainable Forestries

Sustainable forests are the forests that are carefully managed so that as trees are harvested, new seedings are placed to eventually grow in mature trees again, thus the balance is kept.

Impact

While harvesting, we use reduced-impact logging techniques, that allow us to fall and extract trees in a way that reduces damage to other trees, and minimizes erosion and waste.
